The Astoria - Megler Bridge across the Columbia River. US 101.
The Astoria - Megler Bridge was completed in 1966. Nearly 4 miles in length, it is the longest bridge in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to its construction US 101 crossed the mouth of the Columbia River via ferry. Tolls were removed from the bridge in the mid 1990's.
